REWARDING THE FUTURE
The Whitney Houston song that says, "The Children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way" is true with every word. Raising a child in an environment where he or she enjoys learning can be a challenging task for parents and teachers.
FUNDAMENTAL resources are low due to wide spread budget cuts and are steadily increasing for many districts and counties across America. However, despite many of these adversities, there are children who continue to excel academically. These very special students deserve incentives to "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK".
Asmbly SoundLab understands there is a void to be filled when it comes to rewarding those exceptional students that go above and beyond the educational status quo. Every year, our Straight "A" Kids music program rewards 2 students with a 4 hour vocal, training or instrumental recording session. Study after study shows that a child active in the world of arts will be engaging, energetic and maintain motivation to learn.
The winning student(s) will display a consistent and exceptional desire to learn and assist their peers. And you guessed it, the Straight "A" Kids winner must earn a Straight A report card. Parents or teachers, if you think your student deserves this reward and would appreciate a fun musical experience, register them to win.
Currently accepting Spring 2019 candidates. The registration starts December 1st, 2018 and the deadline is January 31, 2019. Judges will provide the winning student name on February 15th, 2019. Please refer to the program rules and for additional details. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. VALID IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND, U.S. ONLY.
